Court is held at 5:00 p.m. on the third Monday of every month, unless otherwise indicated on your citation. Court is located at Talala Town Hall.

Talala Municipal Court is a Court Not of Record. Cases here begin when law enforcement issues a ticket or citation — most often traffic matters and related town ordinance violations.

This is not a civil court. It does not hear private lawsuits, divorces, small-claims disputes, or other civil cases between parties.

Court is held at Town Hall. The Judge hears your case in court. Questions before your court date — including appearances, payment options, and ticket details — are handled by the Court Clerk or the Prosecutor, not the Judge. See Court Dates & Clerk and Citations/Tickets for next steps.

License suspension & reinstatement

If you fail to appear for court, or you fail to complete what the Court ordered — such as paying fines and costs, or meeting other conditions — Talala Municipal Court can submit your driver’s license for suspension. Service Oklahoma receives that submission, processes the suspension on your record, and handles reinstatement once the hold is cleared.

To reinstate a suspended license, contact Service Oklahoma and ask which jurisdiction(s) placed a suspension on your record. More than one court or agency may have submitted a hold. You generally must clear each one before Service Oklahoma will reinstate your license.
