This system lets you submit a criminal police report, print a copy for your records, and receive a confirmation number by email. It is not a substitute for calling 911. Before you start

Use this form to report a listed incident that happened inside Talala Town Limits. The narrative you write describes what happened.

  • If anyone is in danger now, stop and dial 911.
  • Domestic violence, stolen vehicles, and missing or runaway persons cannot be reported here. Call 911 or dispatch.
  • The next step is where the crime happened. That location must be inside Talala Town Limits — a Talala mailing address or 74080 ZIP is not enough.
  • Many homes have a Talala mailing address or 74080 ZIP but sit in unincorporated Rogers County. Those are not in our jurisdiction.
  • If the crime happened at your home, choose that on the next step. We will use your verified home address as the offense location so you do not type it twice. For online and financial crimes, the recorded location is usually your home, which must be inside Talala Town Limits.
  • You must upload a photo of a government-issued ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, or similar). You may also attach photos that help the case — each photo must be named or explained.
  • We email a one-time code to the address you give us, from [email protected]. You must enter that code before the report can be filed. That is how we confirm you are a person we can reach.
  • Your report is sent securely to the Police Department. It is not stored on this website and cannot be looked up later. Staff may take up to 48 hours to review.
  • Filing a false police report is a crime.

Submitting sends your report securely to the Talala Police Department. You will receive a confirmation number by email, then a separate copy of your submission. If online submit fails, call non-emergency dispatch at 918-923-4755.

This system is not for

  • Emergencies or in-progress crimes — dial 911
  • Criminal activity that needs an officer on scene right now
  • Anonymous reports (name, email, phone, and a photo of your ID are required)
  • Crimes outside Talala Town Limits
  • Injury traffic collisions, or crashes on a state highway or interstate
  • Domestic violence
  • Stolen vehicles
  • Missing persons or runaways

When you finish

  • You will see that your online police report has been submitted, with a confirmation number you can print.
  • You must provide a valid email address and enter a one-time code we send to that address from [email protected]. That confirms you are a person we can reach, and it is required before the report will be accepted.
  • The confirmation number is not a case number. When an officer processes the report, a case number may be assigned.

  • A Talala mailing address or 74080 ZIP is not the same as living inside Talala Town Limits. We verify the street with the U.S. Census geocoder against the incorporated town.
  • For online and financial crimes, the incident location is your verified home address, which must be inside Talala Town Limits.

Report FAQ

What do I do if online reporting is not right for me?
If it is an emergency, call 911 (24/7). If it is not an emergency, call dispatch at 918-923-4755. The PD office is 918-340-3083 (hours generally coincide with Town Hall: Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; availability can vary).
What if this happened in another city?
If the crime took place outside Talala Town Limits, call the police department for that city or the Rogers County Sheriff. A Talala mailing address is not enough.
What if this happened on a state highway or interstate?
Call Oklahoma Highway Patrol (*55 from a mobile phone) or 911. Talala PD does not take those reports on this form.
What is a known suspect?
A known suspect is when you or someone else knows the person, knows where to find the person who committed the crime, or has the license plate of the vehicle the suspect was in. Put that information in the suspects field.
Why do you email me a code before I can file?
The code confirms you are a person with access to that inbox, and it is how we stop automated junk from reaching officers. We send it immediately from [email protected]. Reports are not accepted until that code is entered.
Will I get a copy of what I filed?
Yes. After you submit, [email protected] sends a confirmation number first, then a second message with ENCRYPT in the subject that includes a copy of your report. Keep that copy for your records. It is not a case number until an officer assigns one.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Your report is sent securely to the Talala Police Department. This website does not keep a copy and cannot look the report up later. Your identification and photos become part of a protected department record.
