Utilities & Services

The Talala Public Works Authority provides sewer service. Water, trash, electric, internet and phone are provided by outside utilities and private companies.

Sewer is the only utility directly provided by the Town. The Town of Talala does not currently manage water, trash, or electric service. The providers serving our area are listed below.

TPWA maintains the sewer system in Talala. To report a problem, or for questions, contact Town Hall at 918-553-5535.

Department page: the TPWA department / sewer services page has the sewer tap application, how to report a sewer problem, system status, grants and improvements, and ordinances.

New sewer tap: a new connection requires a signed Sewer Tap and User Agreement and the $1,250.00 non-refundable tap fee. Apply online and pay by card, or download the official agreement (PDF) and pay cash or check at Town Hall.

Billing: Rural Water District 4 handles sewer billing. For billing or service questions call 918-443-2542. RWD 4 does not have a website — use phone for billing and service, and follow RWD 4 on Facebook for public updates.

Electric utility

The Town of Talala does not own the electric utilities. All power utilities are provided by either Verdigris Valley Electric Cooperative (VVEC) or Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO).
